Filling in Required Assets
The next round of assets I chose to implement were platforms, some trees and branches, the falling rocks, the alien trinkets, the floating cloud holding one of the collectables, and the decorative midpoint camp. This fills up most of the rest of the existing places that needed their assets replaced other the squirrels, which haven't been coded yet.
The mountain is looking more lively, but I've begun to notice that it still looks empty and bare. I chose to add a couple of decorative trees without their platform branches, and it helps make the level look less bare. It's at this point do I see our level coming together. After the squirrels, I can start planning more "juice" and filling out the level with extra bushes/grass, and add the alien spaceship to the top of the mountain.
